At the beginning of our stone carpet training course, we will introduce you to the various components of our specially manufactured Qubo® flooring systems and explain what you need to bear in mind when processing and laying the various materials.

Material science includes, among other things, the necessary knowledge about

• the different gravels and their areas of application
• the different binders for indoor and outdoor floors, in private and commercial spaces and on vertical surfaces
• The primers and their areas of application
• the various additional layers such as pore closure and anti-slip sealant

The next section of the stone carpet training course covers the various installation systems on different substrates. The material can be trowelled onto most substrates, provided the correct preparatory steps have been carried out in advance. These differ depending on whether the gravel floor is laid on wood, stone, concrete, screed or metal.

This part of the stone carpet training also introduces the correct installation tools and how to use them correctly.

Nobody likes warnings or fines! In our stone carpet training course, you will learn about regulations and occupational safety. This includes the correct use of the various binding agents and the necessary safety measures on construction sites for participants, other tradespeople and customers alike.

In the practical section of our stone carpet training course, you will gain experience in laying our coating system. The instructor will be on hand with help and advice. The aim is to lay the gravel flooring on the practice areas evenly, without waves and properly compacted. The tools and materials learned in the theory section will be put to practical use here.

In addition to laying floors, the practical part of the stone carpet training also includes laying vertical surfaces. The laying and coating of risers and skirting boards is practiced on prepared practice areas.

The instructor is available to answer participants’ questions throughout the entire stone carpet training course.

In a concluding question and answer session, interesting points from the day’s program can be discussed in greater depth.
