In technical work environments such as computer rooms, electrical workshops and laboratories, it is particularly important to protect sensitive computers and measuring devices from static discharges. These occur in dry heated air and particularly in rooms with carpets, but also on laminate and PVC surfaces.
This is where our quartz gravel flooring demonstrates several of its strengths and combines the antistatic effect with the sound-absorbing properties of carpeting.

Incidentally, these properties also apply to our Qubo® stone carpet made of marble gravel.

Quartz gravel floors for industry Highly resilient mortar floors for industry

The mortar floor is a quartz gravel floor filled with epoxy resin with a particularly fine grain and smooth surface. This makes it a highly resilient industrial floor. Particularly suitable for crack-bridging renovation work! If the floor is laid as a so-called scatter coating, quartz gravel is scattered into a bed of synthetic resin in excess. After curing, the excess material is removed and the surface is sealed. Depending on the choice of grain size, different slip classifications are possible, for example “R12V4” for commercial kitchens and cold rooms.

This floor is therefore predestined for house dust allergy sufferers, making it ideal for laying in bedrooms. Of course, it can also be wet mopped. A wet vacuum cleaner is suitable for basic cleaning.

The sealing with a pore seal ensures a hygienic surface. The quartz floor is also very warm underfoot. This effect is created by the insulating effect of the many small air chambers in the floor system.
